How to deal with Lonsdor K518ISE Can’t Update even though Connecting Wifi

There two time you need to set the Lonsdor K518ISE Wifi:
1.  When you get your new Lonsdor K518ISE, you need to set the Wifi before register and update
2.  K518ise can’t update when it shows connecting Wifi
How to set Wifi properly? Here we go
Click Settings -> WIFI

Press the connected Wifi and a info will show

Select “show advanced options”

Choose “Static” in IP settings

Delete the one DNS1 and Change it to 114.114.114.114

28-8
No need to change DNS 2
Save the change and restart the Key Programmer K518ISE, and you will find the problem is solved.

PIWIS Tester Technical Information

WF51 – Re-coding Instrument Cluster (Workshop Campaign) Important: CRITICAL WARNING – This campaign includes steps where control unit(s) in the vehicle will be programmed with the PIWIS Tester. The vehicle voltage must be maintained between 13.5 volts and 14.5 volts during this programming. Failure to maintain this voltage could result in damaged control unit(s). Damage caused by inadequate voltage during programming is not a warrantable defect.
