(Best) MB SD Connect C4 V2012.11 for offline programming

The offline programming has been switched off on DAS beginning from OBD2TOOL. So now when you want to program a control unit for whatever reason you will need to go online to after sales platform which of course will require a dealer login and a password and only then you will be allowed to program the control unit. And this will be possible only if your control unit contains the software version older than the software version available. If the software inside the control unit is the already latest one and you still need to program it you will get a message saying that “No newer software was found”. (Soon there will be a solution how to avoid this message).

The best version for offline programming—Star diagnostic software 2012.11 for Benz diagnostic tool SD C4&DELL D630 + setting up offline mode in old DAS software
This is the one highly recommend although the version is kind of old.
The package V2012.11 MB Star C4 with DELL D630 laptop and preinstalled software is very convenient for users who do not have DELL D630 laptop or do not want to install software. Besides, you need to buy additional setting up offline mode in old DAS software.
But you need set up WIFI and Lan cable connection by yourself if you want to do online programming. This package also includes the offline programming activation software.
V2015.05 or the latest software for online programming:
NOTE: if you want to do online programming, you need the new software v2015.05 or the latest software. Our v2012.11 only support offline programming. If you want to do both online and offline programming, you are advised to have both v2012.11 software and v2015.05 or the latest software.

Original super Mb Star C3 (not limited software version) do offline programming permanently
Super mb star c3 is the most ideal version to do offline programming no matter which software version. But please enable the offline-programming function before use, then you can update it online and to use the newest star software for diagnosis.

WF51 – Re-coding Instrument Cluster (Workshop Campaign) Important: CRITICAL WARNING – This campaign includes steps where control unit(s) in the vehicle will be programmed with the PIWIS Tester. The vehicle voltage must be maintained between 13.5 volts and 14.5 volts during this programming. Failure to maintain this voltage could result in damaged control unit(s). How to flash using a DoIP hardware

  This is an Article showing just how simple it is to flash in DTS Monaco , over DoIP (Diagnostic over Internet Protocol). These newer units can ONLY be flashed over DoIP. Trying to flash them via CAN, will very likely brick your control unit, so that should not be attempted, under any circumstances! A DoIP hardware is required to flash these newer units. Such a hardware can be an SDConnect C4 DoIP , ECOM or VCX SE . DoIP brings signifficant advantage versus CAN, by that it is much faster (eg. flashing times take a few minutes, instead of several hours, telematics disks are not needed anymore, etc etc).
